Pam believes that her focus should always be the citizen and what is best for ALL of the citizens of the state of Minnesota. “Decision making in tough financial times is difficult, I do not care to make it more complicated by listening to competing voices to craft my agenda. Government was never designed in this nation to pad the pockets of the private sector by extending favors to groups that earn their success and money in the free market system to live. Government should not be pandering to these interests, but should keep the citizen’s interest front and center.” Pam largely relies on the Political Contribution Refund (PCR), set up by the state to assist candidate with fundraising and making it easy on the pocketbooks of the public. Under the plan, any citizen, eligible to vote can give an annual one-time contribution to the candidate of their choice of $50.00. The contributor sends the receipt from the campaign Treasurer and fills out the PCR form linked on our site and sends both in for reimbursement from the State. With in 4-6 weeks, generally, the contributor will receive a check for $50.00 from the State of Minnesota. The beauty of this is that the Candidate receives the benefit of the $50.00 contribution and the Citizen receives the benefit of the refund. It is literally the gift that keeps on giving, because in the next calendar year, you can use the $50.00 refund for another contribution and actually recycle the same $50.00 contribution year after year.
